By scheduling services with Soap & the City ("we," "our," or "us"), you ("Client") agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before authorizing any work.
By approving a quote or scheduling service, you authorize Soap & the City to perform the exterior cleaning services described in your quote. You confirm that:

We will clean all areas that can be safely reached. Some areas may not be accessible due to:
If significant conditions prevent us from completing the quoted scope of work, we will notify you and adjust accordingly.
Our cleaning process involves water and cleaning solutions applied to exterior surfaces. While we use low-pressure soft wash methods, some water contact with the property is unavoidable. If your windows, doors, or other openings do not properly seal against normal rainfall, they may allow water intrusion during our service. It is the Client's responsibility to ensure all seals are functioning before service begins. We are not responsible for water damage resulting from pre-existing seal failures.
We take precautions to protect landscaping, including pre-rinsing and post-rinsing vegetation near treated areas. However, some risk to plants exists when using cleaning solutions. While damage is rare when proper protocols are followed, we cannot guarantee that no plants will be affected. Sensitive or valuable plants should be covered or the Client should notify us of their location before service.
Our cleaning will not damage properly functioning, undamaged surfaces. However, we are not responsible for:

Our quotes specify exactly what is included. Services NOT included in a standard quote (unless explicitly stated) include:

Cleaning results vary based on surface condition, staining severity, and material type. We set realistic expectations during the quoting process. Specifically:
Soap & the City does not offer warranties or guarantees on our services. Results vary based on many factors outside our control including weather, property condition, and environmental factors. We stand behind our work and will address legitimate concerns, but we do not provide formal warranties.
Residential: Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged in advance. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
Commercial: Payment terms are negotiated per contract. Standard terms are payment upon completion, but we offer net-30 and other arrangements for established commercial relationships.
Late payments may be subject to collection actions.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.
Some services cannot be performed in rain or extreme weather conditions. We will reschedule as needed and communicate any changes.
Soap & the City maintains general liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. Certificates of insurance are available upon request for commercial clients.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soap & the City's liability for any claim arising from our services shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
